The island Koh Tao (Turtle Island) with the sister island Koh Nang Yuan are the most famous and most beautiful dive sites in the Golf of Thailand. Its a popular destination for divers as for snorkelers. Koh Tao developed to one of the most popular dive areas. Koh Tao is about 8 km long and 3 km wide.  The beautiful and remote beaches, the unique dive and snorkel sites are just around 1,5 hours by boat away from Koh Samui.
   
Around Koh Tao and Koh Nang Yuan the are many beautiful dive sites, which are very close and easy to reach in a few minutes by a dive boat. White Rock, Twin Peaks, Green Rock, Mango Bay and Japanese Garden are some of the most beautiful dive sites.

Koh Tao and Koh Nang Yuan are suitable to beginners and experienced divers. You can do dives down to 25 m and you can see a lot at any depth. The visibility ranges depending on the season between 2 and 30 m. Sometime there can be a slightly current.
